For me the CPC 464 always looked the part. The keyboard in particular had something very "professional" about it. One of my friends had one. His dad had bought it for him as a Christmas gift. It was explained that the Amstrad was a superior business machine when compared to the 48k ZX Spectrum or the Commodore 64. That poor poor boy. OK, so the CPC 464 did have a decent set of excellent titles but I love it because it always made me feel smug as a Speccy owner. Here is one machine where I stood a chance at winning the classic 80s playground argument of "my computer's better than yours". You can get the low-down on the classic Amstrad here.
